“I did then what I knew how to do. Now that I know better, I do better.” Maya Angelow

In life, we always thrive to be the best we can be but the only way to be our best is to keep increasing our knowledge. This year, I have enrolled in the Centre for Veterinary Education year-long surgery course run by three of the most well renowned specialist surgeons in Australia. This course started in February and I can safely say, it is already more challenging then I was expecting. The course goes through each body system in detail ending in monthly assignments, case studies and an in-depth workshop with the specialist surgeons.

The surgery course is designed to act as the next stepping stone for Veterinarians to sit there membership examinations and to allow more complex surgeries to be performed within the clinic.

I look forward to sharing what I learn as the course progresses.
